Beautifully Sublime Sunday

This is my entry for the #sublimesunday challenge by @c0ff33a.

And for the #beautifulsunday challenge, hosted by @ace108

It was a blustery day that required coats and hats and gloves, but still a pretty day for a walk through the garden.

A flock of Canada Geese were decorating the lake.

This Silver Poplar was blowing in the breezes.and looking lovely against the blue sky.

And this shady bench did not look at all appealing on a day when the warmth from the sun felt really good!

The last roses of summer looked lovely in the morning sun.

And although many of the leaves are now on the ground, there is still some autumn beauty hanging on!

A sublimely beautiful day, indeed!

Beautiful photos. Color is amazing. Most vegetation in this region has lost it's color and the years vegetation has fallen to the ground. It must be wonderful to still have vegetation exhibiting all of it's splendor!

Thank you! We have high wind warnings for this afternoon so those leaves probably are not going to hang around much longer. We have some 50 degree days in the forecast but also a lot of clouds and a lot of rain.

Many stay as long as there is open water. Where my Creek flows into the river the water never freezes. I have a flock that stays here all winter long. And I know that because of all the nights during the winter that they wake me up with all the rucus that they cause!

Haha We have lots of turkeys here that are really noisy. Pretty much every night we have a moment that goes like this "What's that? I've never heard that before" then we sneak over to check it out and its just turkeys.

I never here turkeys after it gets dark. Raccoons now, they can create a lot of noise, too!

Yes you are correct turkeys get in their roosts about dark and quiet down. But around dusk? they are crazy, like a party

@Esteemapp? That is all I have used for the past year and a half. I don't think I would even know how to use Steemit! Esteem Surfer for PC is great but I'm so comfortable with the app that it's hard for me to use anything else!

I had asked because it has such bad reviews. I had found it and thought it was a good idea, but was put off with the bad reviews. I then noticed you had used it, so thought I would mention it. It seems to crash a lot for some people.

I guess I’m the opposite, and so comfortable using the web version of Steemit on my PC, so just do the same on my phone. I suppose it is all about what we are comfortable using in the end. I’m not sure what the advantages of using the app would be. What do you like about it?

I have read that Steemit is no longer being supported as a front door site to the Blockchain. But since I don't use it I am not sure how it compares to eSteem.

I love the rewards I get from eSteem in the form of upvotes and the generous prizes that they pay out each month to all of their top users. I love that the votes that they do give out are manually curated, so that junk posts and abusers are not rewarded. I get paid generously to use @eSteem.

I love being able to create drafts of my posts. That way I can have two or three different posts going at the same time and schedule when I want them to be posted.

I love being able to have a list of my favorites, so that I remember to go and visit my favorite friends. And I love being able to have bookmarks for posts I either want to refer back to or go back and read when I have time.

I love how the search feature works, and I love how responsive the Discord Channel is to people who do have difficulties and how they are constantly improving and updating all the features. I have never had any issues with using eSteem that were not my own fault. @eSteem always works. I love that they have made it simple to switch nodes in case one of the servers is having issues

I love how they have created eSteem University and hold classes in several different languages so that new users can use the blockchain more effectively.

These are just a few of my reasons off the top of my head. I'm sure I can think of more reasons,if I try, but I'll stop here! Hope that helps.

I don't know about the bench, but that pot was pretty impressive. I bet it weighs a little, too! Nice red leaves in that last photo, too. It looks like you're getting some nice autumn colors.

I find that I just don't stay outdoors any longer than I have to as the temperatures drop! We have high wind warnings for later this afternoon, so I expect most of those pretty leaves will blow away.
