Yep while you'all were dealing with the chaos on here I was dealing with even worse chaos in the so called real world. I'll write about it sometime but suffice it to say it wasn't anything medical or serious just bad business practices by a firm I was dealing with. It's ongoing but now I'm suing them. So that's nice. lol

Man you are just killing it. Congrats on hitting dolphinhood way before me, but have to admit you are grinding away hard and its great to see that hard work and dedication still pays off.

I also love cats although I don't have one..but it was the neighbor's cat named Geisha who adopted us as her owners... so we adopted her too..she felt so comfortable in our home that she was like living with us.. Our neighbor had 3 more cats and I thought she must have felt she didn't get much attention that's why she liked us.

I know no one else with so many cats. But I really wonder how you cope with them. Our cat needs a lot of care and attention and I suppose the older she gets she will become more independent.

I see my cats needing more attention the older they get, with medical and vet visits. Taking care of 3 cats is no different in taking care of one. Especially if the are related.

While I’m hoping a lot of games start coming out that are using the blockchain here it does not even have to be that.

Most of my stuff for a while now has been around Path Of Exile. It’s a f2p game and a new league is about to start. This tends to be when a lot of players return to the game and a couple people on Steem even play it.

Lots of gamers and people looking for gaming content that’s not Steemmonsers or drugwars.io. Most times they just can’t find it since the blockchain games get most of the attention here.

I cant wait for a game like POE to game out as a blockchain game. I think it will be very difficult, but love playing dungeon crawlers and would love to "mine" crypto by playing one. It will be a tall order, but one I hope is filled in the next few years!

That is so true! I got my first tastes of it on (believe it or not) MySpace, before it became a musical site. Then on TSU, but to be honest, this is above and beyond either one of those.

Hi Melinda! CONGRATULATIONS on your milestone...you truly deserved this status! You have helped me with a lot of advices on esteem and I am so glad to have known you.

I love interior decorating which led me to decorate my home fully in Andalucia.. it's the love of fabric that made me make 4 bed quilts. I also love cats and dogs and all animals and I am an avid container gardener. I cook a lot and post my recipes on Steemit. It is nice to know a person like you who is so engaged in helping others by giving them advice on Steemit. You rock and you made my day!

I came here hoping to talk about crypto and spend a lot of time there. Then I got pulled into a group called Pay it Forward. They helped me out so much that I am a now a sponsor of the contest they run each week. I also found out about Steem Monsters and got into that early and that lead me to become a member of Contest Kings. Now I spend a lot of my time giving away cards and SBI and Inciboost shares. I also looking around for great post to share in the @pifc postings. I still do share some crypto post but they are rare. I have found a way to just have fun here talking with members of a lot of great groups. Giving away small prizes. And reaching out to new members. This is a really cool little contest thanks for hosting it.

Yes!!! Although I didn't come here to talk crypto, it intrigued me and I wanted to find out a little bit more about it. That and the fact that TSU had closed down without warning and all of my friends were migrating over here.

When I got here, I got involved in a few different groups and helped start up SteemUSA, but I found that best part of being here was the fun. And I learned how to post. Or a more refined way anyway. And I am learning new things every day about this ole globe.

My favorite is probably oatmeal with strawberries. I like Bob Mill's oatmeal over Quaker. Brown sugar is good. Fruits are fantastic, especially strawberries. We have some gardens here which helps.

About me; I like taking photos and posting them here on steemit, although I do not do it often enough. I also like playing at farming, I cut and bale hay to sell and feed to my two cows and one goat, and working in my garden. Can hardly wait for spring.

I'm in southern Wisconsin and we got less than an inch last night, but the frigid temperatures this coming week will be disheartening. But on a brighter note I saw a chipmunk out in the snow today and heard sandhill cranes flying overhead. I think they want spring to be here just as much as we do!

I enjoy "armchair travel", I get to see so much of the world through the eyes of real people, people with backyards or just a balcony sharing their view of their location or places they have visited. No phoney baloney that corporate or government media want you to see, but parts of where people live that real people share. I still have yet to see buses as nicely decorated as those of the ones in Kenya. That is just one of the real beauties of "armchair travel" through the steem blockchain. I am also learning how fascinating Poland is because of steemit. So many places so little time.

I have done quite a bit of traveling and I love it. Now that I am no longer able to physically travel, it has been so wonderful to have Steem so that I can still go to places all over the world and feel like I am traveling from the comfort of my own home! Including your big backyard!

I believe that engagement is the foundation of value creation in our ecosystem. Being here a little over a year now has demonstrated to me the importance of relationship building by adding value and perspectives to fellow Semmian posts! When I started, I could not get past 3-4 upvotes on my posts but as I explored the many communities we have here, I began to discover the diversity of great content that many share. I came to Steem mainly because I bought some for an investment, then decided to check it out. My first attempt was less than stellar. But I came back again in October and started getting involved in writing contests. (Shout out to @FreeWriteHouse!) Just recently I completed a 10K word story that is going to be published soon as part of a collaboration of @steemfiction writers. I never thought I'd be able to do something like that. Thank you to @jeezzle for coming up with the idea! (And doing most of the legwork!)

The Flying Fortress. I put together a model of one of those when I was a kid, very cool plane. Did you ever see the movie Memphis Bell it is pretty good?
I got to see one of these up close at the Cape May, NJ air show, could have gotten a ride but it cost about $200 per person for 30 min., a little out of my price range.

I was just thinking I never take photos of planes. But there always have to be exceptions. When my uncle died, his service was in the middle of the Oz outback ~ Red desert country. At the close of the burial, the most immaculate red plane flew over and did what they call a 'waggle' as a farewell tribute to him. He'd been a pilot and continued to fly into his 90's. Later we went to the airport, where a took a few photos of the little red plane. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

Oh so wonderful to be a dolphin now Melinda. Congratulations.

Dolphines are such special beings that give us so much joy when we see them or even sense their presence.

Not really an engagement entry ~ But wanted to tell you one of my dolphin stories. I installed a sculpture for Sculpture by the Sea at the end of 2011. It celebrated the 11:11 of that year which was quite significant for anyone into the 11:11.

I spent 2 years preparing the work ~ 2 days installing it ~ 21 days caretaking the surrounding landscape and 2 LONG days dismantling it.

But then the longest day ever, restoring the landscape. Working in the rain all day ~ Totally by myself ~ All the crowds gone ~ All the other sculptors had gone. I was happy that so many had seen and liked my work ~ Yet, here I was totally depleted ~ Bedraggled. Saturated and cold.

I could have easily slipped into a VERY low place in myself ~ But for some miraculous reason, I didn't. I'd been watching the fine rain mist over the ocean all day ~ Silver and Magical.

And THEN towards the end of the day, just as I was about to go, two surfing guys walked past and told me they'd seen pods of dolphins while they'd been surfing ~ And the dolphins had been swimming up and down the area all day. Invisible in the rain. And I knew why I'd been miraculously saved. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

It does take time to get comfortable with commenting. and not feeling like you are being spammy. Took me a while, I first started out commenting on Authors pages, because I like to read and enjoy reading, and steemit gave me a chance to say thanks to the people that write books, I slowly learned to move out of my comfort zone and now sometimes it is hard for me to shut up.

I had not been into any "Social Media" for a long time. My wife bought me into steemit because of the stories and reading. I started there a comfortable place for me. Once people find the comfort zone, then expanding out of it slowly works wonders. I read and see a ton of stuff I have no idea on how to comment on, so I just vote and move on, I always find something though, and Ashers league kind of helps with that because it lets you know where you are, and well for me anyways, gives a little mental boost to try and leave comments because they are as important if not more so than the vote at times.

I voted so long ago that it was on Steemit in the hamburger menu to the far right next to my photo. I chose a voting proxy and either one of the names you mentioned would be good proxies to use. I am not on my laptop and don't remember how to do it on eSteem, but I'm guessing someone else can tell you!
