My #friendsday post is for @erikah. FINALLY! right?
I've been promising squirrel pictures for a while and this morning I finally had the opportunity to take a few. I was watching them in the yard and the snow is so deep and fluffy that they were having a difficult time getting around. They would sink in the snow and just continue on almost as if they were in a tunnel totally buried to the point where I couldn't even see their tails. They would pop up further along the path. I had never seen them do that before.
When my daughter stopped by this morning she shoveled a place for them under the bird feeder and took them out some sunflower seeds and peanuts.
It has finally stopped snowing today and the sun is out. My plowguy, Terry, has the sidewalk cleared and the driveway plowed . Cold temps and more snow are on the way, though. This feels like winter in Wisconsin has finally arrived!

With all the snacks my daughter feeds them every day I can't imagine that they are hungry. I think it is probably more that they are just spoiled and saw the snow as a major inconvenience to getting their treats.

We got more snow in November so far than we have in December and January I think. It is pretty sad. I remember when I was a kid we used to get dumped on.

The neighbors and I all band together and pay him, and the lawn are guys in the summer. Our road is private so we have to pay to have it plowed and pay for all Road repairs and maintenance. So twice a year we pay into a fund and Terry does the road and all of my neighbors driveways and in the summertime the lawn care guys mow all of our yards when they come. We get a better rate because it's a mass amount for them to take care of. We also have added in a few other perks, our basic cable TV gets paid for out of the fund and so does pumping septic tanks. We all agree that it ends up being a pretty good deal for us and it is also much less that I have to worry about. It just gets done.

It's like a condo association, but we have no management company. One of my neighbors has been the treasurer for the past 20 years and she pays all the bills. Terry has been plowing our snow for years, and we just got a new lawn care service last year and it seems like everyone is very happy with them. They are doing an excellent job.

what internet service did you say you had? And do you know what speed it is?
we've been looking at Spectrum, they weren't available when we moved here but they say they are now, at least according to their website when we put in our zip code.
Hughes Net and some of these are advertising a speed of 25mps but Spectrum says there's is 100mps! I'm convinced most of our slow computer problems are from our slow internet.
Does it take a long time for a post to load if it has alot of photos? ours does, sometimes 5 or 10 minutes!

I have Spectrum and they recently upgraded to 200mps. Everything I see is instantaneous. There is never any lag time at all. I have absolutely no complaints about Spectrum. I have tried a couple of the other ones but they are by far the best

Yes... After 15 or 17 days or whatever the wait was. Did you take a look a Kraken? I started to set up an account with them but then I got sidetracked. I need to go back and see about finishing that up and what their deal is.
I think to become a dolphin you need to have at least a 60 rep, Over 1000 followers and 5000 SP. So like me, you are just short on SP too!

As fast as time flies you'll be there in no time though! I did sign up with Kraken and so far I like what I see. With coinbase if I remember correctly I had to send in my drivers license and all kinds of proof but I didn't have to do that with Kraken I don't think. At least I got an email saying I was set to transfer funds back and forth from the bank.
So we are setting up another account because we are a little distrustful and that should be set up tomorrow but I might not be able to use it until Monday.
Then I gotta figure out how to make the transfer, I hate complicated things. Mrs. J agreed to let me have a whopping $100 to put into steem. lol. But it's better than nothing and I'm not bringing in any money so she's in financial control.
