Henryi Clemantis

in esteem •  7 years ago

I have a Henryi Clematis vine that grows up the railing of the steps that go down from the deck. In June it gets lovely white flowers

But it is after the flower petals have fallen off and it forms these interesting balls, that I understand are referred to as fruits, that I really enjoy it best! This is what it looked like today.

They are on the vines all winter and always attract attention even when they are covered in ice and snow.

That's a strange flower. I've never seen one like that.

I have 7 different clematis vines...they do well with my limited sunlight.

This photos are so beautiful, the nature is so amazing

Amazing.

Amazing

What a great series of photos! I agree with you that the middle photo is most interesting. So unique and beautiful :)

It's really very beautiful friends.

Why do i have a feeling that whosoever discovered the plant's name is Henry...?
I'm also guessing you have a lovely garden.

I bet you are right Henry's Clematis vine! Lots of green things here in the woods, with a few flowering shrubs, and potted plants on the deck. The deer don't let me do much gardening!

Hello Beautiful

Happy Thursday beautiful

woohoo what a great way to enter your house!! :D gives a welcome warm feel to have flowers in the door way :D stunning pictures toooo 💗🐲🐉

Thanks, my friend. Do you have flowers, or do you travel too much? My daughter has spent 2 years now learning some Swedish on her own, but in a few weeks starts her Swedish class at the University in Milwaukee. She is excited.

I love clematis @melinda010100. They are all so interesting and different from each other. Not to mention they flower at different times.

I agree yours looks just as lovely in winter as it does in summer. 😊

I had two vines this year that never flowered at all. I think it's called neglect. I fertilized them last week, so maybe they will be happier next year!

Yep. That's the downside of Clematis @melinda010100. They can be a little pernickety. 😊

Your photos are gorgeous. I am a lover of climbing flowers and therefore of clematites. I cannot see these pictures in winter because my wife cleans dry parts after the flower ends.

I usually do a spring clean up, because of like the reminders of flowers during the deepest part of winter.

Very nice, I like this!
