Robot is multifunctional manipulator designed to move material,which is reprogrammable.it is a computerized instrument.which can work automatically.they work just like people.

The word (Robotics) came from "robota"(Slavik word).which means labour or worker.

Joseph Fredrik engelberger is known as the inventor of robotics.

Robotics has 3 rules and regulations or law.

Law 1.they will never do harm to people,
Law 2.they will always abide by people's rules,
Law 3.robot will try to help people,they will try no to harm man.

In 1990 year, Massachusetts institute of technology invented iRobot institution.they invented Roomba robot.

1. FANUC :it is an American institution.which is in no 1 position.
2. YASKAWA : it is also an American institution.which situated in 1989.
3. iRobot : it was situated by MIIT in 1990.which made roomba robot for cleaning floor of house.

ABB,Kawasaki,Nachi,Kuka,denso, Mitsubishi, Epson,staubli,forxconn,comau,omron, universal.

Robot has made our life easy and comfortable.but there's price are costly.we need to use them carefully.we need to keep in mind that, always remember people will use robot,not let robot can use you.
