Bunga merah ini sering dijadikan sebagai pewarna alami oleh ibu-ibu di pedesaan serts terkadang dijadikan sebagai ramuan obatan.
Daunnya juga dimanfaatkan sebagai obat tradisional yaitu dengan cara digiling hingga halus, kemudian dibalur ditempat bisul. Biasa lebih untuk mengobati bisul tersebut agar tidak meletus. Ada juga yang memanfaatkan sebagai campuran penurun panan dengan cara ditempelkan di kepala sisakit.
Mungkin itu sedikit gambaran tentang bunga merah yang hampir mirip bunga kembang sepatu. Terimakasih atas kunjungannya. Salam steemit.
