Hello steemit world !
Today i want to share about a very Unique day : gopashtami.
Have you any idea about it?
I think my indian friends know about it, but I want to share it with all over the world 😉
On this day cows are worshiped, we pay tribute to the previous "godhan" or cow wealth and pay respect.
We indian call cow : gau mata😇
Let's know about it:
Most of us have grown up listening that cow is our mother, respect them.
It is belived that by worshiping and protecting the cows , it helps increase the fortune and also helps in realizing ones desires.
Even we worship cow 365 days but as we celebrated our birthday once in a year , as we celebrated their presence on this day gopashtami.
I want to share how we celebrated this :
In the morning we walk up early and make special laddu for cow .
We used millet to make it.
After that we collect all thing to worship cows :
This is laddu
Jaggery and in our local language we say it gur.
We worship cow and care her.
We went cowshalve and donate some for cow.

Hmmm ! Yes . We used cow milk but not direct.
We used ghee which Is made with cow milk 😅
