The city of Lhokseumawe is a city in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. The city is right in the middle of the eastern path of Sumatra. It lies between Banda Aceh and Medan, making it a vital tract of distribution and commerce in Aceh. a city known as the famous petrodollar to where. The contribution of the stomach of this city is able to build this archipelago. no doubt about it. the largest natural gas-producing city in the 70s to 80s.
Lhokseumawe is an industrial city with several companies that have triumphed because of operating in its territory. Call it PT PIM (PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda), PT AAF (Aceh Asean Fertilizer) and PT KKA (PT Kertas Kraft Aceh). the company was able to stand because of the supply of gas to support its giant machine from the Aron gas field. In addition, the gas is exported to foreign countries where all the rupiah goes into the pockets of the country. this decade Lhokseumawe re-established into a special economic area to become an economic axis in its special aceh region.
