Make or break time in the season and knockout hurling in it's greatest form. After shock results yesterday in the leinster championship Galway are out and Dublin got through.
Today it's our turn.
At home to cork in a game we must win. A 23 point win sees us though to the all-Ireland series (unlikely). Or a win for us and a win for Limerick will get us through as well.
So we need to win and to pray at the same time. The jerseys are on. The tickets are in the pocket and now just to head home for the match. Meet up with my friends and get a few pre game drinks in for the nerves.
Then all that's left is to see what happens.
It could be a great day for Clare hurling but they need to stand up and be counted. It's been two terrible performances but they aren't a bad team so hopefully the can show us that tday in front of a full house.
