Would they look funny flying with umbrellas?

Hahaha, I rained soaking wet again this morning whilst outside with my camera, and on my way inside to dry off, the thought came to me that no resident in nature was equipped with an umbrella. The Hadeda Ibis birds above will look funny flying with small umbrellas!
Have a look at another wet day!

They are both wet, but they love the growth!

This guy is also happy to eat the green stuff!

This little guy found a spot inside to dry!

Here you can see the rain outside my window!

Another look at the wetness!

Finally the rain clouds started to move away!

These are the times that I enjoy the most!

The setting sun and some straggling clouds create a feast for the eye!

And then the darkness started to take over!

I love to tell my stories by using the medium of nature. There are so many different scenes and contexts that one can apply to life. Mother nature indeed holds a book that entails many aspects of facts that we can apply to life.

Think here of the design of a helicopter that was taken from the dragonfly, and many other inventions that were inspired by nature. I like to show the small and the big in nature and their way of overcoming in life.

They make a plan...and so should we!

Amazing pictures! I love nature photography.
That little grey bird was really fluffed up! It's adorable :-D
Stunning sunset with the clouds, and the flying birds captured as well. I really enjoyed your post ;-)

Thank you and glad that you enjoyed the post my friend.
Nature is indeed a part of all of us and so sad that the destroyers don't recognize that.
Also glad that you appreciate her beauty.
Blessings!

Very true! It's heartbreaking how nature is treated, even we need nature to even be able to live on earth.
Thank you for your nice reply! Hope you have a lovely Friday :-)

We can learn and have learnt so much from nature

As for umbrellas I never us the myself unless I am carry something in a downpour that cannot get wet

Blessings my friend

I also for some reason don't like the things JJ.
Soaking wet became second nature to me, especially after spending many years on a motorbike in the rain.
Blessings also to you guys!

Yes that could be it from back in MY off road and motocross riding getting wet does not bother me at all unless it is real cold and i have a long way to go

Really nice shots, @papilloncharity! That's a lot of rain coming down in those early pictures. Wow! I also love that time after a storm when the sun comes slanting through breaks in the clouds. You captured it at a really spectacular time of day.

Thank you and so right my friend.
I have a habit to be out just before and after the rain, especially at sunset, as normally the most glorious moments are presented.
Blessings!

We've been getting a lot of rain, but not quite the 'monsoon' the newspapers suggest. British people complain about the weather, but we do not get the extremes you see in the tropics. Eventually the sun comes out.

My step daughter worked in the UK for 7 years Sir Steve and she maintains that what she missed the most was the South African weather.
Tough guys like you would not be bothered about the weather, but I can tell you that the weather patterns are definitely shifting.
Blessings!

Well done @papilloncharity

Thank you my friend!

I love rain, but I like to stay inside and watch 😊 I also love the colors of sunset, but I enjoy more the sunrise. I love the light, not the dark. If there is any Sun worshiping religion, I should practice that. Glad to read your posts my friend, it looks like you feel better, thank God! I feel very tired lately, lots of rainy days here too. 😊

Be careful of sunshine religions my friend, they always rain out Lol.
I am also a sunrise man, but then again, also a sunset man.
As you can see, I even sound better hahaha.
Sorry to hear about your lethargy and maybe there's a reason for that? Better to check it out, or maybe you have been too busy lately? Please take care of yourself.
Thank you for the kind words.
Blessings!

wow beautiful photographs of animals and birds. First photograph is really awesome. flying birds are looks really beautiful..

Thank you my friend and the first photo was taken as the Hadeda's were on their way home, flying across the face of some sunset clouds.
Blessings!

The living helicopters lining up! Lovet ♥️

Mother nature indeed holds a book that entails many aspects of facts that we can apply to life.

& very well said dear Papillon!
Very nice ending

Howdy sir papilloncharity! oh those are fabulous photos! hey is the drought areas getting any rain?

Howdy Sir @janton, thank you and sadly the areas are still dry.
Government is investing a lot of funding to sink multiple bore holes in the areas, but there are fears that they may drain the underground water tables.
Such is life.
Hope you guys are having a good Sunday!
Blessings!

Howdy today sir papilloncharity! So the government is drilling water wells? Are they finding water? I've always heard that most of Africa is sitting on giant aquifers.

Yup! There's much water available and that's also why we are all so scared about the proposed "Fracking" explorations for gas, as it can contaminate the water tables. It seems the aquifers are now threatened from two directions. Contamination is the last thing that we can afford.
Blessings!
