The inscription on each side of the tombstone belongs to a great scholar from Medina, he has emigrated and devoted himself to the interests of the ummah, giving the light of Islam in the land of Pedir.
According to the inscription on his headstone it states that he is "the most honorable Shaykh (master) to be honored, the 'wisely' pious, [and he] exalted, decorated with names (praiseworthy qualities), [and he] who has all the splendor in his sciences and knowledge, and possesses all the glory in his many acts and deeds, and who always works righteous deeds and charity, may Allah comfort him with the glad tidings of his forgiveness and choose him among his servants [ to be part of His help].
The Shaykh has been declared 'wise again kamil (perfect); the devout (who is very submissive?) again the faqir, who [hopefully] is forgiven, Shaykh 'Abdur Rahim bin Salih Al-Madaniy died 943 Hijri (1536 AD). "
