The binding elements of farmer groups include:
• There is a common interest among its members;
• The existence of a farming area that is a shared responsibility among its members;
• A cadre of farmers dedicated to mobilizing farmers and their leadership is accepted by other farmers;
• The existence of activities that can be benefited by at least the majority of its members;
• The encouragement or motivation of local community leaders to support the program has been determined.
