This humble plant was deemed worthy of the title of 'Plant of the Year' by the International Plant Society in 2001. Sage has a widespread use around the world. The leaves of the sage plant are dried and consumed as tea and beverage. It is also widely used in kitchens because it adds a naive flavor to the dishes.
Sage is grown in 70-80 cm trees and generally likes temperate climates. It grows in İzmir side in our country. In the regions where Don events are frequent, and in cold climates, the surrounding area must be covered with other trees to provide the desired temperature. A, C, B6 and K vitamins are a very rich source of nutrients. It's a full vitamin A deposit. It contains high amounts of potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium.
