Delima ini adalah tanaman buah-buahan yang dapat tumbuh hingga 5-8 m. Tanaman ini di perkirakan berasal dari iran, namum telah di kembangbiakkan di daerah kita ini,dan juga delima ini bisa dijadi kan obat, contoh,bisa jadi obat mata kabur, lambung dan lainnya.
Bentuk tanaman ini batang yang banyak berbentuk persegi percabangan banyak dan lainnya.
Sedangkan bunganya tunggal bertangkai pendek, keluar di ujung ranting atau di ketiak daun yang paling atas.Biasanya, terdapat satu sampai 5 bunga dan dia berwarna merah..
