Not as Simple as Imagined

A cruise ship has an accident at sea and will soon sink. A husband and wife run toward the lifeboat to save themselves. Getting there, they realized that there was only room for the one person left. Soon the husband jumped ahead of his wife to get the place. The wife could only stare at him, shouting a sentence before the lifeboat pulled away and the ship completely drowned it.

The teacher who told this story asked his disciples, "What do you think the wife shouted?"

Most of the students replied, "I hate you!" "You are so annoying !!" "You are selfish!" "I'm not shy!"

But the teacher then realized there was a student who was silent. The teacher asked the silent student to answer. Said the disciple, "Master, I'm sure the wife would have shouted, 'Please take care of our children'".

The teacher was surprised and asked, "Have you heard this story before?"

The student shook his head. "Not yet. But that's what my mom said, before she died of chronic disease. "

The teacher looked at the whole class and said, "This answer is true."

The ship then completely drowned and the husband took their son home alone.

Years later after the husband died, the boy found his father's diary. There he discovered the fact that, when his parents boarded the yacht, they already knew that the mother was suffering from a chronic illness and would soon die. Therefore, in the emergency, his father decided to take his only chance to survive. He wrote in the diary, "How I wish to die under the sea with you. But for the sake of our children, I have to let you drown alone forever down there. "

The story is over. And the whole class fell silent.

The teacher knows that the students now understand the morals of the story, that the good and evil in this world are not as simple as we often think. There are various complications and reasons behind it that are sometimes difficult to understand.

That's why we should never see just outside and then directly judge, let alone without knowing anything.

Those who often pay for others may not mean they are rich, but because they value relationships rather than money.

Those who work without anyone to tell, maybe not because they are stupid, but because they appreciate the concept of responsibility.

Those who apologize first after a fight, probably not because they are guilty, but because they respect others.

Those who reach out to help you, probably not because they feel they owe, but because you think you are a friend.

Those who contact you often, probably not because they do not have busy, but because you are in his heart.
