After experiencing an incident with his private plane type Shark Aero, Aceh Governor Irwandi Yusuf held a press conference and recounted the chronology of the incident that happened.
Irwandi explained that he had just conducted a working visit to examine the projects funded by APBN in several districts in Aceh for three days.
When the incident happened, the man who is familiarly called Tengku Aga mini is flying at an altitude of 3,500 feet. arrived at Leupung Aceh Besar area, the plane machine suddenly experienced a problem.
The governor suspects that the machine is "crashing" due to the insufficient supply of fuel.
"Then I made the decision to land an emergency in the Leupung area. the reason is, with the condition of the engine is dead, the plane may not be able to reach the airport, "he said on Saturday (17/2/2018).
But, continued Irwandi, suddenly the engine plane lights up again and can rise to a height of 2,000 feet.

then, the plane engine went back to death, so Irwandi reported to the tower to make an emergency landing.
"After communicating with the tower at Sultan Iskandar Muda airport, I decided to just land, I saw the sand on the left side, the landing process initially run smoothly. but when the plane's wheels touch the sand, the plane's tire finally sinks into the sand, then slams its nose. Taxable right wing with soil. Broken wings. I came out of the cockpit, "said Governor Irwandi Yusuf.
finally, the Governor of Aceh emergency landing at Lam Awe Village Beach, Peukan Bada Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District, Aceh, Saturday (17/2/2018) at around 15:15 pm.
A moment later, the Governor went on, a fast boat came from the sea to help.
"Then with the boatman I drag a little plane to the ground, thank God also the assistant of two governments of Aceh Pak Taqwallah who was with me in the plane also did not get injured, even he can run a press conference of our visit problem in Iskandar Muda Airport," said IrwandiJoseph.Governor Irwandi Yusuf admitted, before flying there was no sign of the plane having engine trouble.
The aircraft will be sent to the manufacturer for repair process. The entire cost will be borne by the factory.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Nasrun who is a flying teacher of the Governor of Aceh who attended the press conference said the Governor's decision to make an emergency landing on the beach was right.
"The decision of landing emergency is very professional," said the former fighter pilot.
He said, according to the calculation of the distance between the position of the plane with the airport Lanud SIM, it is unlikely the plane can reach the airport in a dead machine condition .
