Mohamad Al-Joundi, a 16-year-old Syrian boy who was awarded the International Children's Peace Prize of 2017 for his services fighting for education for Syrian refugee children.
At first when he fled Syria, he felt sad because he could not go to school anymore. Mohamad decided to teach Mathematics and English in refugee camps. His small class then transformed into a school that now has many teachers and students. He continues to fight for education for all refugee children.
