Usually the art of Rapai is done on stage or sitting on a mat.

Here I try to make this sketch with different nuances unlike usual.
by showing a person sitting on the back of an elephant while hitting Rapai.

Po Meurah is the name for Elephants in Aceh.
Meurah comes from the Indian language which means elephant.

actually from the search history of aceh meurah is the name of a child from the King of the Kingdom of Samudra Pasai. Meurah which means Elephant. his full name is Meurah Mulia.
Mulia means Friendly, kind and noble.
Meurah symbolizes strength in the Aceh military first. Meurah Mulia joined the War Forces by riding an Elephant or called the Elephant Army Forces.
