Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    No matter how many people you talk to on Steem every single one of them will have a slightly different opinion of what you should be doing here to be successful. I happen to love that you are using eSteem. Someone else may tell you to use a different front end. Take a look at all the options and do what works best for you! And always ask if you have questions
