At first I was sitting in the morning in front of the house and looked at the mango tree. Ehhhh ... I accidentally saw something like a lizard but strange, because at the bottom of his neck there is a motion, the lizard was two tails. At that moment I was curious about the lizard. The next day I looked again and photographed it. For three days every morning, I photographed it on my mango tree, many people passed by in front of me, but I ignored it, maybe I was mistaken for "the CRAZY" with the people. Hahahaaa ..
These are the photos I took ..
On the fourth day I found it, my parents told me that the mango tree would be cut down. I started to get excited, and immediately waited under the tree (but not directly below it too kellezzz, later the tree). After the mango tree was cut down I started looking for the lizard, but did not find it ..
Hours after that my dad found the lizard, I was instantly excited ... Although only one of the two I saw on the mango tree. I started grasping, groping, squeezing, and measuring. Apparently it is not a lizard, it is a lizard with the name Cekibar Kampung, in Indonesia itself different names, such as Cekibar (Betawi), Hap-Hap (Sunda), and Cleret Gombel or Klarap (Java). while in English it is called Gliding Lizards or Flying Dragon and with the scientific name of Draco Volans.
These animals can be found starting from Thailand and the Malay Peninsula in the west, the Philippines Islands in the north, Sumatra, Mentawai, Riau, Natuna, Borneo, Java, Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi, to Maluku in the east. As well as in the tropical forests of other southeast asia.
The lizards are somewhat small, the total length up to 200 mm (20 cm), but which I found along 21 cm. Patagium (wings) in the form of an extension of six pairs of ribs covered by skin of the patagium with the color yellow to orange, black berbercak. The underside is a yellowish gray, with black spots. The head is clenched, shaped and shriveled like grandparents; with a yellow pocket (male) or a bright blue (female), and a pair of leather sibir on the right side of the neck. Rigi crown small, located on the back side of the head. The eyes are typical of agamid lizards, with thick protruding stickers. Dorsal (upper side of the body) is brown to blackish or grayish, the color may turn darker or brighter when disturbed. Throughout the vertebra (spine) there is a pattern of black spots that regularly located: from the top of the head, back of the head, neck. Then enlarges and turns into a semicircle black pattern at three points on the back (dorsum) and one at the base of the tail. This kind of color pattern is a good cover in a tree plant. Ventral (underside of the body) whitish gray, slightly greenish on the medial side (midline of the body); with brownish spots in the lateral direction (next to the edge of the body). The tail is about 1 ½ times the length of the body, spotted at the end, with its strongly-flecked scales making it appear to be square-faced.
The male Draco lizard is very proactive using its flying capabilities. They glide by to catch competitors of two or three trees they claim to belong to. In the breeding season, it is common to see several males chasing females in the same tree. Store eggs in loose soil or humus near the base of the tree; females dug the ground by using a muzzle. Draco lizards rarely come down to the ground. The female Draco lizard descended to the ground to spawn only. Generally Draco lizards only lay eggs to 5 eggs only, egg holes covered with leaves and females keep the nest for 24 hours before returning to aas tree and leaving the egg inside the hive. The lizard I found was male.
Apparently, the population of Cekibar or Draco Volans at this time has decreased in the habitat. So, take good care of your nature and respect the sentient beings in it.
thank you

Wow! Thanks for sharing this. Honestly I have never seen anything like this and the details you have given about this specie is really helpful. When you though some species have gone into extinction, you'd be surprised they are still available in some few places.
