In this modern era, a lot of progress is unavoidable. Progress and developments that occur in the fields of economics, science and technology, even culture and tradition experience such significant changes. If we look at economic sector growth in Indonesia, many high-rise buildings are established, almost evenly in cities throughout Indonesia. This, indicating the economy in the city of the Republic of Indonesia began to progress. In terms of science and technology, today has relied on the use of science and technology (Science and Technology). Examples, such as school and college registration, have used all online systems. This also shows progress in the field of education. However, progress and changes in this era, not all people can follow it well and feel happy.
There are some people who experience stress due to the development and progress of the times which tend to not be able to follow. This, based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2011, that the Indonesian adult population reaches 150 million people, about 11.6 percent or 17.4 million people experience mental emotional disorders or mental health disorders in the form of anxiety and depression (Delivered in " seminar on the framework of world mental health day ”28 September 2011). Furthermore, the results of research conducted by the Health Research and Development Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2013. The prevalence of severe mental disorders in the Indonesian population is 1.7 per mile. Most severe mental disorders in Yogyakarta, Aceh, South Sulawesi, Bali and Central Java. The proportion of RTs who had once installed ART for severe mental illness was 14.3 percent and most were in the population living in the countryside (18.2 percent), and in the population group with the lowest ownership index quintile (19.5 percent). The prevalence of emotional mental disorders in the Indonesian population is 6.0 percent. Provinces with the highest prevalence of mental emotional disorders in Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, West Java, DI Yogyakarta and East Nusa Tenggara.
Seeing the facts in the field, this becomes a big homework for all lines of life, the participation of all elements of society to maintain harmonious relations between fellow individuals and the role of the government to provide stability concerning the issue of convenience in the opinion of the community. From the above paradigm, it can be concluded that many people experience stress due to the stresses of life from a variety of problems from day to day.
Is that stressful?
Selye said stress is the body's response that is non-specific to any demands on it. If individuals experience interference in one or more organs of the body so that individuals can no longer carry out work functions properly, then individuals are called experiencing distress. However, if an individual can overcome the pressure that comes to him, without any physical or mental complaints, then the individual does not experience stress but is called eustress.

Reaction to stress
Many factors affect a person experiencing stress, as explained earlier. Individuals who experience stress, will show a reaction in him. According to Yusuf and Nurihsan, stress symptoms can be seen from physical and psychological symptoms.
