In some places around the world, there are those who use rice as a staple food.
One of them is Indonesia. At our place we generally consume rice as a daily food.
Rice is processed from dried rice, we called Beras. We can find a variety of popular rice varieties. Like rice 64, cisadane, rajalele and others. In addition there is brown rice besides white rice which is commonly found.
Rice seedlings are planted and planted on agricultural land, in sufficient paddy fields. Although, there are several places where rice plants grow on dry land, in the form of Gaga rice, planted in rain-fed land.
Rice plants that use rice fields, can grow and begin to be harvested at the age of 4 months.
