After fantasizing about it, for years, my wife finally got her wish: to ride a self-driving Tesla :) Not a car guy myself, I'll admit to being impressed from the start, when we opened the hood and she sat where the engine typically might sit.
The sleek, unexpected design continued on the inside, with a car length sky roof and no dashboard, only a very smart screen showing you all that you needed to know.
Then, the technological wizardry really began, when our family friend let my wife take the wheel and, then leave the wheel, while the uncanny car simply cruised along, switched lanes, and even parked itself :o
