Download BitConnect Wallet for your Operating System.

BitConnect coins use a special algorithm called POW / POS to secure the BitConnect Coin network.

In order to solo POW mines BitConnect coins, you will need a BitConnect coin purse. You will need to wait for blockchain to download if this is your first time using a wallet. Be patient to take some time.

Download wallet software for Windows operating system. (Note: The guides in Linux, and OSX BitConnect Wallet are immediately available.)

Configuration

In the window, Open start menu, Find% AppData%, you can see the 'loit / bitconnect' folder.

Close your wallet and create bitconnect.conf by using the notepad editor in the 'browse / bitconnect' folder.

Just copy and paste the following line in the bitconnect.conf file and save it.

Open the BitConnect wallet by double-clicking on bitconnect.exe.

Miner settings

BitConnect coins can be mined with a CPU / GPU and do not need an ASIC miner like Bitcoin does.

If you want to mine on Windows Operating System, then you should create your miner batch file to point to the wallet

Just open notepad then copy and paste the following line or Download this pre-configured RunMe.bat file and place it in your miner directory.

Now save the file as "RunMe.bat" in the same folder containing the miner of your app file. You are now ready to mine the first POW BitConnect Coin Block, double click on "RunMe.bat" to start mining.
