5 amazing facts Round #2 (list)

This is a Round #2 challenge for the Steemians who use the @esteemapp.

1. A typical used mattress contains to 10 million dust mites

I think that is a close number to a number of germs in our mouth. Even with washing our mouth are dirty. The old mattress doesn't bother me. If the mites were dangerous we would be dead already.

2. Some tribes insert large plates as decoration into their lips, some up to 8 inches in diameter

This makes me appreciate our beauty standards no matter how crazy they are too. Those tribes have it as an acceptable custom, so for them, this is not exaggerated. But, for us it is.

3. When you jump, you actually move the whole earth a tiny bit.

If we join in jumping where exactly will Earth move and how much does it move per year? Because there are a lot of animals jumping. If a blue whale jumps, does it count too? Is it a same?

4. Sea otters hold hands while sleeping to keep from drifting apart.

I was thinking that holding hand otters do it because they love each other, but maybe drifting apart for them has the same meaning as a loss to us. They look very cure while sleeping like that together.

5. Leaf insects mimic leaves and even rock back and forth when walking to mimic a real leaf being blown by the wind.

These insects walk as if they are drunk the whole life, so they can't hold straight walk. We don't live in the tropical area and we don't have the opportunity to see the insects that look like that. I bet they are funny.
