Some people underestimate the problem of conversation between a man and an ajnabiyyah woman. For example, if someone comes to his friend's house, but apparently his friend is not there, then his wife will meet him and talk to him. He opened the assembly and served coffee or tea to him. Is this action permissible, given that at that time no one was at home other than the man's wife?

Answer: A woman is not allowed to allow non mahram men to enter her husband's home, when her husband travels, even though the person is a close friend of her husband and though he is a trustworthy person, for this act is a seclusion between a man and an ajnabiyyah woman. Though mentioned in the hadith, "Surely not a man to be alone with a woman, unless the shrine will be the third party."
