Rest In Peace After Leaving Your Will With Eternitas

We all know that Bitcoin was the first success of blockchain technology. Blockchain technology is as old as Bitcoin.

It has to be noted that blockchain technology began with bitcoin as the only use case.

The rate at which blockchain technology has grown over the years is so phenomenal.

I am thrilled to learn that a new company called Eternitas is using Blockchain technology to store wills on the blockchain! Yes wills, you read that right!

You might still not be believing this!

A will is that document that a person states how he/she would love their property to be distributed after death.

It is this document(will) that Eternitas wants to help you with by putting it on the blockchain.

I know death is a topic most of us do not like to talk about, but like it or not we shall all die. We cannot escape death folks and we should at least leave a happy afterlife(knowing that our property back on earth here was distributed to the right people as intended by you!)

We all know how many conflicts have sprung up after people die in relation to their properties.

There is a prominent family I know of in Uganda here that have got their business messed up ever since the dad died. I guess he did not leave a will behind!

I have realized that most people do not give much attention to the creation of wills(maybe because we do not know when we shall die...we hope we are still around for more 5 or 10 years!!)

I am certain we have all read stories of how family members, business partners, relatives or even lawyers change or edit wills to their favor!

It is really had to trust a human being with property!

There are reasons why this Eternitas project is better than the traditional will system

1.Safety

The Eternitas system is very safe since no human being is involved! It is great to know that whatever you worked hard for will be distributed in the correct amount to the people you want to.

The safety is that no lawyer or relative will have access to edit the will to their advantage!

2. Autonomous

A smart contract(will) will be created that will be triggered with the help of a dcentralized network. You can be able to distribute your assets from the afterlife.

I guess only folks who use Eternitas will be the ones happy in the afterlife since they left knowing all their assets were well distributed here on earth hahaha.

3. Easiness

It is so easy to implement Eternitas without the long hustle of documentations from the many legal bodies.

You only have to document everything as you want it to happen and then put it on the blockchain through Eternitas.

The Eternitas CEO Mr. Milosz Matuschek recently won a Twitterpicth competition which was hosted by Mr. Carsten Maschmeyer (German Shark Tank Jury).

I do believe this is really a great step in helping people have their wills on the blockchain. There is a feeling you when you are about to die(especially of old age or illness) knowing that your estate and property is going to right people as directed by you.

I always see people type the word R.I.P(Rest In Peace), but I have a feeling most people do not rest in peace because of the problems they know that will be caused during the time of property sharing!
