I love traveling to some places that I’ve never been before. I’m a digital nomad and crypto enthusiast for a long while, and I admit that last year was one of the best years of my life. The moment I decided to enter crypto and learn how to profit from it, the rest was history. Because of that, I traveled a lot until today.
The last country that I traveled was in Hongkong, which was on the 2nd week of March of this year. I’ll be traveling to Singapore next month, and soon in Germany, Vietnam, Malaysia and others. Thanks to crypto, I can now afford to travel.
However, I am also looking for ways how to save and earn while traveling since I admitted that I’ve spent too much of it.....
In today’s era, it is now simpler for us to travel anywhere in the world with the use of Waze app. However, Waze isn’t perfect and accurate. I tried it in Hongkong using their sim card, but it wasn’t accurate and also experiencing delays in searching specific locations.
Second, not all countries can understand English. Even if there’s a guide in subway trains, signs or so, it’s still difficult when you try finding a specific place that you need to go that is so hard to find. Like in Hongkong, when I ask a local for a specific place, he is also “not sure” which one I mean. The same thing goes to other places worldwide.
With the presence of the disruptive blockchain technology along with Smart Trip Platform integration and Civic partnership, there is a decentralized app that would be the ultimate solution to the issues we have in our travel goals, whether you’re alone or with family and friends.
Without further ado, I would like to review about a unique travel Dapp known as Airsave Travel. Here are the reasons why I liked this one-of-a-kind project:
1 - An opportunity for travelers to save and earn money
Digital nomads like are looking for effective ways to save and earn some bucks with friends while traveling to different places. With the presence of Airsave Miles, we can save Airsave Travel tokens (or ASTC in short) through its own DApp. By just referring friends into the system, it gives us the ability to earn TASH (Smart Trip Platform) tokens and will make ASTC trading profitable.
You can earn while referring your friends, especially those who are digital nomads, location independents or just anyone who loves to travel anywhere. In other words, it enables you to earn recurring £5 per friend when they save £20 a month. Now that’s passive income for you! The good thing about this DApp is that it’s free to join.
Every four months, you can get recurring rewards from the friends you’ve invited. Let’s say you have 10 friends who save 20 Euros every month in their DApp, you could passively earn £240 worth of TASH or equivalent to Bitcoin (BTC). How much more if you have 50 friends who save £20 each? You could earn up to £1,040 every four months. How cool is that, huh?
However, in order for us to withdraw our earnings, the DApp itself has a fixed and straighforward monthly subscription of £20 or £80 every 4 months. We could pay in fiat or ASTC tokens. On top of that, the DApp itself could let us track our monthly earnings and savings in real time.
With these features being mentioned here, I can say that this would help solve all of my issues in terms of saving and earning more money with or with my friends while traveling anywhere we want. If you are a digital nomad, location independent or just someone who loves to travel, this one’s for you.
2. No more “central point” in their DApp
If you are familiar of centralization, you may wonder that there’s an intermediary that holds us back from completing our transaction on an immediate basis. Like banks, your actions cannot be completed by the system because of intermediaries that interferes or holds us back.
The good thing about Airsave Travel is that they are developing a DApp that no intermediary would interfere the way everything operates in the ecosystem. Decentralization is the attractive element, especially when it comes to promising travel apps like Airsave Travel. They are aiming to leverage the growth of tourism and travel industry by letting them use the DApp for their travel goals and plans. In that case, it’s a win-win situation for all of us.
3. They already have a centralised version of Airsave Travel since 2017
As they are working on the decentralised application, they already have the centralised version which is now available in the App Store since 2017. Because of that, it easily gains traction as many users are satisfied with it. Now that decentralised version comes in play, there’s no question that new and existing users of the centralised app will be supporting it as well.
Airsave Travel is just a handful of projects that have a working app before the IEO begin. For me, it is a huge advantage for us to be one of the contributors to their upcoming IEO as the app itself for iOs users is working smoothly.
Explaining the roadmap
I know, and you know, that when it comes to joining crypto startups, ICOs, STOs and IEOs, we always look at the roadmap first. It is one key for us to determine if the project itself is worth to be participated.
As what I have seen in their roadmap, we are just waiting for the IEO to launch in Exmarkets exchange. The good thing about participating with them is that they already have a live product working on the Apple App Store, along with sets of transaction phases. Their roadmap is short, sweet and simple. I am highly convinced that with their roadmap, there is no doubt that they are on the right track.

Look guys, I know that there are some promising startups that are trying to make a difference in the cryptoverse. I was just like some investors out there who is trying to look for a project that is promising, reliable and realistic, which always starts from the team itself.
As what I have seen in their development team, I can say that their beautiful and gorgeous CEO Sarah Dales is doing a great job in putting up this amazing project. She’s a visionary who believes that anything is possible, especially when it comes to traveling worldwide. With the rest of her core team, there is no doubt that this project itself would become one of the most successful crypto startups in the travel niche.
Not only that, these advisors who are on board are doing a great job as well in helping Airsave Travel grow even more. With their expertise and strong advice to the core team, it would help Airsave Travel take their services to its full potential and into the next level.
About the ongoing IEO
Airsave Travel is just a handful of crypto startups who seems to be promising and reliable due to their strong team background. There might be other travel-related crypto startups who have existed in the market, but not all of them are successful. I envisioned that Airsave Travel would become a huge success in the near future.
Airsave Travel has a total token supply of 35,000,000 ASTC. When IEO begins, you can buy Airsave Travel tokens at $0.30 each in Exmarkets launchpad. It will not be the same price again if you choose to wait for the token sale to end and hits exchanges. You know why? It is because Airsave Travel’s project is so realistic and highly achievable in their roadmap. No hype, just pure real value that we could get from them as one of the token sale participants.
They would begin the Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) on the 1st of May in Exmarkets exchange and it will run until July 31st. After that, early ASTC investors are now able to start trading tokens within the exchange. However, I’m positive that they would get listed in other promising exchanges in the crypto market apart from ExRates. As for private investors, they just need to complete their KYC as what I have seen in their website.
As for the token allocation, you can see that most of the distribution goes to the exchange listing since Airsave Travel is an IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) which is 63% of the total token supply. 12% of the total token supply goes to the team and advisors and 10% for the bounty program. For the use of proceeds and funding, 40% of that will be more on developing the Airsave Travel software, or what we call the MVP (Minimum Viable Prototype), 30% goes to marketing/PR, 15% for business development, 10% for operational cost and the remaining 5% goes to exchange listing and legal process.
My own thoughts about Airsave Travel
As a digital nomad and frequent traveller, all I can say is that Airsave Travel is truly a unique kind of decentralized app for us to save and earn money in traveling. To be honest, I have never seen this kind of app before that is meant for travelers. Along with Civic and Smart Trip Platform (which I also support them), it gives me great confidence in using Airsave Travel even more.
I would say that this project itself is something that can’t be missed. I know how unpredictable the crypto market right now, but if we focus on the technology and its use case, the token’s true value would soon follow.
