If you've been in the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or bitcoin "space" at all, you have probably heard of Ethereum (ETH). It's a newer coin, but it has taken off since it started and the difference between its lowest low and its highest high is over 80,000%. It is one of the "big 3," Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
It is not just a "currency," but a platform that uses what are called Smart Contracts, which could change many aspects of how business, finance and transactions are done. In fact, many of the "penny alt coins" are built on the Ethereum platform. It also updates faster than bitcoin and has less lag time.
It is getting a lot of backing and interest from the institutional as well as venture money. Since it is a platform, it opens up all kinds of different applicable uses for many different industries, such as tech applications. So, even Silicon Valley is interested and starting to invest.
Our research suggests that it could reach the same values of bitcoin ($x,xxx range) in the next 6 to 12 months. Some investors are definitely calling it one to buy and hold because of the long term potential. As of writing this it is slightly down from the highs, so NOW IS THE TIME TO TURN 0.07 ETH INTO 1 ETH OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
