Ethereum. Where we're going we don't need roads... But we will need new tires for a while longer.

Ethereum had an incredible 2017. Lets take a look at a couple of crashes (over 50%) ETH has gone through and examine where the averages would take us from here. Lets go!

So with only two crashes available in the data the crashes range quite a lot. But the average days to recover to ATH and the crash percentage are both very similar...both which we can use in our data.

Now with both crashes taking 162 and 166 days to recover back to the all time high. Both crashes averaged 62% down and averaged 1000% up.

The 1Day RSI has not been this low since October 2016. When ETH was $7.91!

So putting these numbers and time frames on a chart and we get this.

9/23/2018 - $5211 per ETH with old ATH 1,424 being reclaimed around 164 days later or 6/25/2018.

With my other prediction this would put ETH's bullrun coming sooner than Bitcoins run (https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@crits/bitcoin-price-drops-in-the-past-compared-where-are-we-going-how-long) so the BTC/ETH ratio could be quite good for ETH. This may put ETH around .2 - .3 BTC in late Summer 2018 but with Bitcoin coming in strong in early 2019 time will tell.

Both ETH and BTC are down now around 65%. This may be prime time to buy if you can stand another 5-10% down. Historically both of these assets have dropped 60-80% and came back each time with over 1000% gains.

Final opinion: Ethereum is still just getting started. The ICO scene will continue to help and hurt ETHs price but with the inflation dropping in the next year, staking, IRA's, futures and plasma coming this puppy is only going up from here.

Doc Brown might just need to fill up the tires here one last time before we don't need roads anymore.
