Hello Everyone,
The above picture is of me and my kids working at our booth at a local folk festival a couple of years ago.
I own a small coffee roasting company in Central Canada. The business turned 10 year old this year. My dream in starting the business was to become self employed while creating an ethical (loaded word) company. The latter has been a challenge to say the least, but I haven't lost hope.
I live a quiet life in the country, and enjoy taking pictures on my daily walks with my animals
I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, learning about other cultures, especially when I visit where we source our coffee.
This is one of my favorite picture, It was my first trips to Bolivia (My first time really traveling) you can see the shared excitement, honestly I think I was having more fun than the kids were.
I turned 50 last year. I have been trying to figure out what I should do with this next phase of my life? I've pondered 2 option.
- Sell everything and go sailing, or option
- Keep going and grow the business.
Option 2 has brought me to learning a little about, cryptocurrency, blockchain, ethereum and now to this steemit community.
I want to learn and see if I can evolve my little company into an ethereum, blockchain, steemit type of entity? Not sure if this makes sense to you out there? But I love the idea of a more sharing type of economy. I also love the idea of being radically transparent in the process.
Any help, guidance, support or advice is Welcome!

Welcome aboard cant wait to see what else you have to post! For me Id say grow the business having great coffee choices has always been a big thing and maybe innovating it further with crypto would be interesting
