ONE MILLION $$$ WORTH OF ETHEREUM STOLEN :(
Yesterday I posted an article about how I recently got scammed on a BTC Cloud Mining Service. I also linked to a video by RyanB on YouTube where he does a great job analyzing how to tell if a cloud mining company is legit. Then even poor Ryan got involved in a flim-flam as my grandpa would call a scam.
A fly-by-night operation called Ethereum Chamber offered online wallet services and they had a really slick operation. People answering the phone and emails etc. The Website and application were very well done. So how do we protect ourselves as a community without bringing in government interference and regulation.
Can we police ourselves as a community? Can we stop the green monster of greed?
I think it is time to setup a group that certifies the legitimacy of a business or software application so we the community can has some level of assurance.
