Hi guys, I Just started mining with Genesis mining.
I read a lot of different stories about GM being a scam.
I also read some stories telling it's great(mostly with a promo code atttached)
So I will post the results of my GM contract here.
My contract is a 2 year contract mining ethereum at 15 MH/S this contract is priced $450
As most will know ETH will maybe change from pow(proof of work) to pos(proof of stake) this year.
I wonder what alternative GM will give when this happens.
Things are not looking good the last two weeks
Missing payments, Genesis says every 2 days a double payment. The 2 daily payment is Just for 1 day.
No response on tickets.
First week payouts were goof, but I am really scared this firm will go bankrupt or announce it was a scam....

Again 30,31 and 1 august missing payouts on august 2 0.0041 Let's see if the missing days will be added when payout(minimum is 0.05) arrives. They still don't have it all sorted out I guess...

I did a little mining allocation change that didn't work out so well. I changed to 25% steem 75% eth.
But when I reached the limit for payout steem they didn't payout I emailed them and got an answer real Quick but after that the problem is now in research for more than a week.
I changed back to 100% eth now

So i mine both myself and on genesis and they both have good and bad sides.
The way to mine on genesis is not to put a huge amount on and hope for you to earn that back . What you want to do is find an amount that you can invest and dont see it as an income and then reinvest the coins you make to get more hash power. Then the daily amount keeps going up. Eventually you will be getting what you put in per day (Even if it does take a long time.)
However mining with your own computer is much more lucrative but more hard work.

Well, I guess the home rigs are getting better and better and also much more expensive so my guess is there will be a shift towards cloud mining. I Just started this contract because I am curious.
First day about 2$ if it remains stable it could be a good roi(return of investment) and I would have my investment back in 9 months.
But it all depends on how fast the decline will be

Well I have received 3 payments so far of 0.05 eth so,0.15 in 3 weeks not bad.
Hoping it stays this way and if eth price remains stable I will have roi in 10 months if difficulty will not rise to fast that is.....
