Ethereum Jokes To Tell Your Friends

Slock.it wasn't such a terrible idea, their main problem was that they had The Tool to do the job.

Why does the Ethereum Foundation never order Chinese food? Because they only know how to use the fork!

I heard the Ethereum Foundation is removing recursion from their Linux client, instead they are forking a new process every time to solve the problem. fork()

The Tool: -"Hey everyone, give my chubby ass some money to build a lock!"
crowd: -"Of course, such decentralization, much locky, take US$150.000.000,00 wow!"
Random guy: -"Wait there's a bug there."
The Tool: -"No problem, our dr. something here solved it. We are so lucky, let's suck cock..."
The Tool: -"Where's all our funds?

Prediction markets aka betting the hell out of everything...

Decentralization is about humans, forget what we said about immutable code. Humm... ok?

I heard about this thing called Ethereum and I asked what was it all about. They told me it was a virtual computer that ran across the globe, running immutable, irrefutable code that was not subject to censorship. Then I asked what kind of app it was running, and they said nothing big yet, but there was this DAO thing that was supposed be huge. I questioned if the DAO could be closed by the man and they said there was no chance because the code was immutable, unstopabble, irrefutable. Then the code was stopped, mutated and refuted..... :(

It's only supposed to be immutable if a majority of the people oppose the change. In this case an overwhelming percentage essentially voted for the change to take place. Not saying I completely agree with it but I think it's a little dishonest what you are saying.
