Nice! What's going on with the whole Casper thing? Is PoS really going to be happening?

Yep, it's really going to happen! It's only a matter of time for research, development and testing. But the plan is to implement it along with other improvements on shards (rather than the main chain) after sharding with stateless clients, then as the sharding ecosystem gets more stable, coupling it more closely to the main chain, in stages. I think I give more links to that in the wiki.

Haha, yep, I've been contributing to Ethereum docs as I learn and will continue to help improve it, focusing on scalability research.
