would your new coins be applied to whatever wallet you held your ETH in? Would it need to be on an exchange or MEW?

    Some exchanges support both coins. I had some coins when the bitcoin fork recently with coinbase, but they informed me in advance that, if fork happens, they will not support the new coin (bitcon cash). So, I did not get the new coin.
