Wearing an ETH T-Shirt at the gym made me realize how appealing crypto can be

Today, I was working out at the gym with an Ethereum T-Shirt like this one:

After about 20 minutes, one guy came to me asking what Ethereum is, saying that he already heard about it but wasn't curious enough to study the technology behind it and the whole crypto ecosystem.

I started explaining as well as I could (I admit I wasn't that good lol) and 2 more people who were listening joined, saying that they saw an eToro ad about it on facebook and wanted to know more.

We talked about crypto for almost an hour, and they showed so much interest that I'd bet 1 ETH that by the end of the day they have set up a Coinbase account.

This made me realize how appealing blockchain technology and the crypto world is, and I feel that mass adoption is what we should expect.

Very cool! That happens to me when I wear my Goldmoney shirt

About to buy myself some crypto shirts as I love to spread the word about cryptocurrency. Great share 👍

man, I should start selling them :)

LOL take a look at the one showing a heavenly Vitalik Buterin giving us a Lambo. It's hilarious

yeah man I'm working on a site just to get total tech newcomers into it. Everyone who catches on tends to get their mind blown

what is the site?

That's a great idea :) I found just ethadvisor with that purpose, which I think is great, but a little biased!

That makes me wonder, what percentage of people who have some sort of cryptocurrency in their wallets really understand the technology behind them? Those who don't have stay away because they simply have no idea.

There's a lot of hype behind crypto right now because of the possibility it gives to make fast profits. I agree with you, it's quite dumb to put your money into something you don't know anything of (Warren Buffett would agree too!), and I hope people at least inform themselves before investing.

Hi there, awesome site. I thought the topics you posted on were very interesting keep it up thanks. PS. https://www.youractivewear.com
