My name is sa6231 and I'm an Software Engineer and a cryptocurrency trader. I started buying cryptocurrencies about 5-6 Months ago. My first purchase was about $200 USD of ethereum in this year. As you can imagine it has paid off only $12-$14 but recently ethereum touch $400. I have been analyzing the market and more about to what is ethereum.
What is Ethereum?
Ether runs on an underlying technology called Ethereum, which is a different blockchain to the one that underpins bitcoin.
While ether does have digital "coins" like bitcoin, companies are more focused on how the Ethereum blockchain could be used in real-world applications.
Ethereum has been designed to support so-called smart contract applications. A smart contract is a computer program that can automatically execute the terms of a contract when certain conditions are met, potentially taking a lot of the human involvement out of completing a deal.
My Ethereum Price Prediction
I think that Ethereum will most likely reach $800-$1000 US dollar in 2018. So Ethereum is on my buy list for 2017.

You might be right on this, but currently i assume mainstream adoption is on hold, because people are confused, for years there was btc and from one day to the other there is a new powerful cryptocurrency.
