Litecoin is taking over Ethereum?

in ethereum •  7 years ago

We have heard it all: Ethereum is "dying" and Litecoin is going to the moon.

Has Ethereum reached his maximum and was it to overhyped?
Is everyone switching from Ethereum into Litecoin?

Like we can see below:
Litecoin is going up and Ethereum is slowing down.
Some under us say that Litecoin is worth 10% of Bitcoin.

Three reasons why Litecoin can go to the moon:

  • The litecoin community worked together to activate Segwit and Bitcoin hasn't.
  • Litecoin is designed to be faster than Bitcoin.
  • Charlie Lee is now working 100% on Litecoin and left Coinbase.

What are your opinions about Litecoin and Ethereum:
Is Litecoin the real "Silver" of Bitcoin?
Was Ethereum overhyped?

Ethereum has not yet come to an end.

Litecoin was created before ETH.

I don't think you can really compare on to the other in such a way saying people are switching from Litecoin to Etherium. Litecoin is a digital currency while Etherium is not. The only way I would see Etherium dying is if another blockchain that offers what Etherium does comes along and sweeps the market, like maybe Tezos will.

Regarding Etherium I think people and investors may be a bit weary of the fact that Vitalic has so much say over what happens to the project. It sort of throws out the fact that like with Bitcoin, if most people use a certain software than one fork will "win" over the other. In Etherium it is more follow what Vitalik says. His importance for the project was seen when we saw the fake news of his death and ETH saw that flash crash down to $0.10.

Smart people are already out of ETH, Crypto market is so sensitive, By recent ICO issues, Flash Crash and etc ... YES ETH going down at the moment, Try to Make a decision and quit ETH, your loss will recover by LTC

Ethereum and Litecoin are very different. Ethereum has had a big run up and some hiccups with icos making further price increases in the short term less probable. Bitcoin has the uncertainty of the update and is unlikely to move much higher until after the update goes smoothly. This leaves litecoin in a good position for a rally before the bitcoin update is finalized. Ethereum is unique and its market value and utility is not yet maximized. For these reasons I'm holding litecoin.

I can clearly see that, LITECOIN super pass ETH in less than two months

yeah yeah, would you say it like 2 months ago?
