Sort of... I think the idea is much bigger than that though. Google Authenticator is just a 2FA, or 2 step authorization system. Civic is going to basically be a store of all of your information (on the blockchain though, Civic won't actually have access to any of your information). And it will mean that you won't even need passwords on accounts eventually (You can just scan your civic code, and it will update the website with all of the relevant information needed proving that it is in fact, you)
