Eugenics Education Chapter 2: Planned Parenthood

My Reply speak to the portion of the article discussing the location of clinics-
While Childress is obviously bias, he is not the only one with this position. Furthermore this article by the Washington times has a blatant misinformed statement that discredits the author: http://www.washingtontimes.com/.../fewer-abortion.../ " Minority women, like other women, seek abortion because of unwanted pregnancies, not “aggressive marketing,” Guttmacher researchers say" We know this to be a false statement based on the research and evidence provided, aggressive marketing starts at a young age in the schooling system.. Alt market was merely used for Edward Bernays, which is a direct quote from his book and doesnt speak to any position regarding abortion. I stated the intent of that source clearly in the article. I simply stated that the piece was worth a read. In my next piece I will provide you links to the book to do your own reading.Hey look the people doing the research is part of Planned Parenthood....no conflict there. "When Guttmacher was founded (as the Center for Family Planning Program Development) in 1968, it was initially housed within the corporate structure of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA)." https://www.guttmacher.org/guttmacher-institute-faq

As we go further it appears this organization Guttmacher is the focal point of the whole opposition to the location of offices as they are once again sourced in this article http://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2015/08/14/432080520/fact-check-was-planned-parenthood-started-to-control-the-black-population In the article it also disavows Sangers relationship to her racist Eugenicist ideology. As of right now, based on the evidence, the position in support of Planned Parenthood locations is discredited due to conflicts of interest and foreign locations only in minority countries. http://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2015/08/14/432080520/fact-check-was-planned-parenthood-started-to-control-the-black-population and they have the audacity to call the the piece fact checking. As stated in the piece there is a disconnect of facts. From what I can see, it appears the individuals apposing PP with claims of targeting minority communities dont seem to have adequate research to back their position, while supporters use false info and a organization discredited for conflict of interests to support their position. Dr. Grazie Christie, a radiologist who is a senior policy advisor for The Catholic Association has the same sentiment as others against PP " She argues that the abortion rates are higher among Latinas because most Planned Parenthood clinics are located in minority neighborhoods or within walking distance of minority neighborhoods and because black and Latina women are disproportionately lower income and can use Medicaid for their services.

"You're not going to find Planned Parenthood in a ritzy, suburban enclave," she said. "http://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/planned-parenthood-debate-holds-importance-latinas-n425126 It is apparent this is a disinformation campaign on the part of PP who in the face of accusations without support, overshot their position to instead incriminate themselves through conflict of interest.
