Yes the Europa league has always been seen as a lesser cup and it's not taken seriously by teams but since recently where winners of Europa league automatically qualify for champions league , it's a bit better.

    Fact everyone needs an incentives to do things, i think i don't blame them.... Even you would always want to participate at the top of anything you do.

    Champions league has more to offer than europa in terms of cash, fame, competition and recognition.
