Tomorrow GDPR takes into effect in Europe. It is a long and complex thing but there is something for everyone in it - you have the right to be forgotten.
If you have registered somewhere and then changed your mind.. you can leave with no trace. :)
I get e-mails like this all day long. This is from the Gemini exchange:
Since we are unable to do business in your jurisdiction, we are deleting all of the data you have provided us when opting in for updates. Deletion will take effect on or before May 25, 2018, at 0:00 EEST. As such, you will not be able to create an account with Gemini Trust Company, LLC until we are licensed in your area.
When have you seen that a company voluntarily deletes your personal data? Never.
The EU works!
PS - Gemini is a good exchange and has been around for a long time. I recommend it for US residents. CoinBase is a bit too slow for my taste.
