Aesthetics: Evan Marsh
My own sense of Aesthetics in relation to being “pleasing to the senses”
Aestecially, Music is a profession. I really do believe music can
shape and influence the world. I now see that music is a serious,
major outlet for one to create and dissipate ones inner most
feelings. In psychology, i believe its the chart of wellness, for one
to have a happy life you must be able to express yourself to some
degree. Testosterone, estrogen, human emotions, life’s
experiences are all needed to be displayed properly through the
proper outlets. We need to talk, love, humor ourselves to be
productive members of society or any successful organization or
engage in a normal relationship.
That base of creativity effects many different ways. Bill Gates,
Steve Jobs, Obama all expressed themselves creatively, it took
the all different directions but still made a impact on cultures,
globally. Creativity, music is, the base for art to me which is a
genre of work thats manipulated by thoughts and ideas. Just as
Bill Gates, sort of, poetry on programming or some sort of lyrically
inclined ideas provoked mother boards and generally “code.” I
enjoy music bc, it allows me to express myself. I can go thru
something daily, spit a flow n I feel like I talked to my best friend. It
makes my heart smile.
Freestyle, talking about any and everything. After my show, I
rather do that than confide in another human being, leaving
myself open to be criticized and subject to judgmental idiocies and
misunderstandings, which is not pleasing to the senses. I spit
about my past relationships, my dreams, desires and goals,
ambitions, wishes. I think Im a poet bc, I am. Poetry as a
profession is a tricky business. Luckily, I was raised by sharks and
I understand the music of business. Poetry, Business Model,
Loyal support group, all needs to be included.
Music is much similar to the bible, a general instructional,
interesting way to look at life. Stimulates, cultivate and just
generally super awesome. It just sucks to me because a lot of
musicians aren’t recognized to many years later after their
deaths. Recognize me now dammit. I am your Knight “Evan
Wrekn Foo” So make this job of being a poet the root of the mind,
live life to the fullest, experience, love, and get addicted to
success. For the records, Music is pleasing to the senses.
