Don’t you ever come to a point when examinations have finished and you feel the sweet freedom within yourself as you throw your study notes up towards the ceiling and getting scolded by your mother because of the mess you’ve made?
Well, unfortunately that does not last long …
In a span of 2 months, doom day will occur and completely sabotage the sweet freedom you once had…
The release of your examination grades….
Majority of us are chatty and nosy teenagers that love to budge in asking what EVERYONE got graded on for a particular subject; some might even message a person they COMPLETELY never talked before just to invade their privacy.
There would come to a point where a friend of yours would be asking you and to your surprise… you did better than they did! How would you respond back to them though? That was something I struggled with, I am filled with joy knowing I did better than my friend(s) yet you need to give sympathetic support since of course, they are your friend. Or… just completely roast the heck out of them and lower their self-esteem.
Throughout the years, I’ve learned to fully give them support, lend them a hand and ensure them that you are there to help, tell them how well they did to achieve this grade even if it’s not their desired grade. Be happy that it’s over and you did not fail.
Some children across the world does not get the privilege like you do to study at a well-educated school with supportive and loving family to help you every step of the way.
I believe in you guys :) If you don’t have faith in yourself, who would? Don’t overshadow other people’s talent over yours. That would only bring you down. Look at your talents, your skills and strong points that have led you to this far in life.
