Are you hearing what I'm hearing? | Only 1 vote per IP address per day counts on Netcoins' listing contest

Is it thunder? No.

Is it an earthquake? No.

Is it your mother stomping upstares? Sorry, bad joke.

No, it's the STEEM fucking train! Choochooo motherfuckers!!!

No, it's not a real Steem-train, unfortunately.

Ehem, clears throat, sorry about that. It's just been a very long time since I've been this excited about anything, so please, allow me this random hype seizure of mine.

Yes, it is about the voting on Netcoins.

We have just reached #1 spot, but don't start celebrating yet – you keep voting like a good boy/girl, ok? Because we're still not anyway clear ahead. So, keep annoying your relatives and friends until they vote, bribe them if necessary (I just spammed few friends of mine).

Btw, I started to dig in VERGE's Twitter, and I found this posted there:

It is apparently from PAC coin's Discord channel.

Netcoins' team memeber informed that only 1 vote per IP address per day is accepted, so there's no point to use additional e-mails from the same computer, because they won't count in the end. Netcoins will remove all unvalid extra votes, so it is to expect that every vote count will decrease a little (or a bit more, which is likely in PAC coin's case). This is supposed to take place at the end of this day.
I'm hopeful, that Steem's counter will see the smallest decrease because we should have pretty good amount of legit users as a social media platform, and it's been really exciting to observe and follow how so many people have indeed spread the spam of the Netcoins contest like plague; I looked DTube and right on the front page I saw couple promos – exactly as should be!
To top it all, people like @acidyo, @anomadsoul and @drakos – not to forget @oracle-d – are literally giving away free money for a couple second of work to vote Steem!

I mean, sure, Steem hasn't been as strong as we thought; there should be 60k daily users? But even if it was only a third of that, and everybody voted just once, we would be crushing this. However, the effort from the real core users here has been impressive and we have created a lot of traction during the last few days. I mean, couple of days ago we must've had only 2000 votes, and by now we have tripled that amount!

This is not just about spamming and winning a contest, it's about symbolic value and proving that we can actually create traction on a larger scale. That we have an actual community backing Steem. We might be unfortunately few, us who really care, but still I feel that those who do, care about this much more passionately than about a regular coin, because I believe Steem has the biggest amount of invested people, not only by money, but with their time. And there's no other blockchain that provides a chance to start from nothing and actually end up with something. Is it easy? Fuck no, but that's the sacrifice of an early adopter: this place is far from ready yet, don't forget that, and this is not for every personality to handle. But those who've stuck to this for a decent long time, you're motherfucking badasses, I'm telling you!

Sorry I will shut up before I get any more sentimental.

Oh, almost forgot:

Vote, fucker!

Man, seeing how passionate you are about this really warms the heart. If only more people cared as you do about this fucking thing (seriously, it's as if they're not voting for themselves at all...).

Sucks that multiple votes off the same address don't count. :/

I guess it's because I really feel connected to this place by now.

Sucks that multiple votes off the same address don't count. :/

I think it's good like this, in the end, so it won't become a race of who creates more e-mails. Everyone can still vote once per day.

I am trying to vote but this damn "I am not a robot" thing just loads endlessly

But it is good to see that train is coming.

Stop being a bot duh

Haha!

infiltration mission failed. self destruct mode activated

Try to get your human act together and vote 😁

My thoughts exactly. We should be winning this pretty easy, but at least it shows us how far we are as a platform as well as how resilient

Looks like PAC is out of the competition. Verge is the only one to worry about.

Yeah, Verge is really close.

just boosted right behind the steem.
EDIT: Just passed. Fuck, steemit people really need to come together now and take the win.

Yeah, really unfortunate if Steem loses so close :/
