Sell Steem in the USA

I haven't used steemit in years. I never got much traction from it and many people didn't read my post. So I gradually stopped doing it.
Does anyone know how to cash out my Steem for US dollars, or another commonly traded crypto? Any exchange I find that may trade Steem doesn't allow users in the US to sign up.
Now I'm stuck with Steem that I don't know what to do with.
