when the sun is bright we are out: approaching 2500 followers and aiming for squarely for 10000 posts on steemit! #letsgo

kinda surprised how quickly the jump from 2000 to 2500 went, maybe the longer you are on the platform, the more you interact, the more posts you put up here the more google juice, steem blockchain juice and exposure your blog get’s.

it’s certainly a mind shift from running on a standalone wordpress blog hoping that regular traffic comes by, our hosting maybe decentralised but our blogs are centralised in nature all packed together, just a few more tweaks and discovery here on the platform will be brilliant, i certainly cannot wait for communities.

it was supposedly cold over night last night, a week of dropping temps they said and tbh it’s not all that bad this morning, maybe the weather will change with it’s extremes but whenever we have any bright sunshine i wanna get out and take in those energy rays and fresher than van air!

it was a bit of a rush but we decided to make the move and get out for laptop club, nothing better than changing your headspace by changing the physical space where you are, it’s pay day (10 cycle) from upwork today and i also got a little udemy income (and i mean little!) it all helps however.

we don’t often go this way on the bus, it’s the same route just the opposite direction and the buses are not as regular, we probably have time for 2 x two hour sprints which is kinda perfect. dayle is gonna make her special chicken soup as well tonight again to clear out all ailments.

i personally have to have this midweek bit of exercise otherwise i end up with van/cabin fever. you go a bit stir crazy and to be honest the exercise, fresher air and movement is worth it. i want to start mixing up our mondays as well, maybe get on a bus super early and go exploring on the buses to different places.

my next two hour sprint is meant to write all the titles out for the next videos i’ll be recording for dlive and dtube — i’m kinda torn at the moment which one to put video onto, i feel that dlive is really best for live stuff but they don’t save your recordings right now which is a problem, must hang out in their discord more to see what features they are working on.

i feel dtube is best for regular @vlogging and courses via @teamvideo, maybe i’ll do some sixty second style quick style tutorials between my live streams of OBS and gaming, wanna find the flow so it’s a major part of my day.

the sun is blaring into this conservatory we are sitting in for laptop club, we changed the place today, change of pace, cheaper veggie breakfast and unlimited coffee (can’t beat that) i’m feeling WARM and that feels great, i certainly forget how a bit of sunshine and vitamin d can wake me up.

i need these rebalancing days, especially after crappy sleep, i’d tell you how much actual sleep i had but it seems my fitbit died in the night, i guess you have to charge these things right? (lol) it’s so new since birthday i’ve not got into that whole ‘charge’ cycle yet and i certainly don’t carry the cable.

making a few banners today, one for course promotion and another as an animated overlay for making a gif for when i do dlive or dtube recordings, just a drag and drop thing into keynote then export as a gif, i notice that dlive allows for animated gifs so that’s really gonna make your preview image pop and stand out on the page.

alright, time to convert some funds from residuals into usuable fiat for the rest of the day and we are good to go, time to go in sprint mode! — oh power tip, if you wanna REALLY get things done, use something like E.gg Timer - a simple countdown timer running in a separate tab and set it for a TWO hour sprint, get as much done as you can in that time window then take a break, stand up, get away from the computer and soon take part in our new projects (yes, exercise!)

ok, speak to you later on today with the output from these sprints, don’t forget to get outside and breath deeply m’kay?

The sunshine, fresh air and the greenery (on the trading screen, not the bushes) certainly puts a spring in your step !
Enjoy the day my friend :-)

'ELON' gated. hahah, not sure if that was the intent what with the spacex thing last night but that made me smile. it's a lovely day right? great weather. you gotta get out on days like this.

I will lie like a true pseudointellectual and say yes, that was my intent ;-)

LOL! faux pseudo human. i'd take it. made me smile! had impact. kinda nuts that we have a tesla in space. everytime i think about it i think about how pumped elon must be to have that in space, kinda nutty. i wonder how long it will be before the backlash of people saying it was arrogant to do because it might cause X/Y issues in SPACE! - can you imagine the alien news service reporting that falling into someones garden... LOL. sorry, that makes me laugh..

Its just brilliant. Im not a huge fan of him to be honest, but blasting a rag top tesla into orbit with a dummy in a spacesuit driving and the radio playing Bowie on continuous loop is classic. True human wonderful eccentricty....and yes, I was waiting for the killjoys and whingers to appear today but happily they havent...yet!

We all hope for a massive discovery on your platform @teamhumble and my prayer is for the right and resourceful communities to hop into ds platform. And wow @Dayle is doing a great job preparing those special chicken soup.
It is great reading this, good job.

Thanks @eunireal! 👌🏻 Gotta feed the ones you love ;)

I agree with you

and I agree with you too :-)

Postingan anda sangat bermamfaat, terutama buat pribadi saya,, kata penuh makna yang mendalam,,

does it come with chips?

what do you mean ,,,

if you want to share the crossed chip ,,

i don't understand what you said, so whenever i see crazy text i always think of food menus when i'm holiday and my dad used to say 'does it come with chips' and have a little laugh about it. regardless if we knew the local food we could always get chips! :)

that's awesome - bet you will be at 2500 in a couple of days :D that's an interesting idea about timing the projects. Maybe the clock will make me be more efficient when making a post or switching topics and setting something aside when I have writer's block lol

well always having two hour sprints means i'm on the clock to 'finish' whatever i'm doing, i pick like 3/5 tasks and aim to get them all in, this pushes me to work faster because i'm 'on the clock' as such. i have to finish in two hours, what's great about it is that because i know i have a timing factor i work faster, harder and most of the time i DONT get all in what i need but what i do get is a motivation or momentum factor attached -- for instance, i just finished up a two our sprint and now i'm commenting while having coffee! :)

now the next few hours is relaxed, walks, supplies and changing spaces to somewhere else, maybe a beer or something and a bit of shopping for stuff for the van for a relaxing night back at the van! :)

That actually a really good productivity tip, I potter around stuff and jump from one thing to another achieving very little. Perhaps a little clock pressure and defined breaks might help me. thanks for that :-)

try it. it's kinda awesome and also you don't feel like your day is wasted if it's on your terms. try a 10am to lunchtime and CELEBRATE with lunch after it. after thirty days or so you won't even notice that 2hrs yet you get everything you need (pretty much) done or it can roll over to the next 2hr block -- when i'm working clients, i do two hours for me, then lunch, then clients, then break, then me and then down time.
