Getting Harder

I just finished a 4.528km running that lasted about 0hh:30mm:44ss !

Winter is coming. It's still a long way off really, but I'm finding it harder to get out and harder to stay out. Today I managed half an hour, but was ready to stop. I think I need some variety and probably need to fill in my non-running days with some other cardio, I just feel sluggish on the road.

This too shall pass, of course and I should be glad that I got out at all, but the heavy grey cloud didn't help my mood either and it really started to pour just after I finished, so my warm-down walk was very soggy!

Yeah, I was always more of a warm-weather runner too. (Not that I've run at all in the past year since getting a job that puts me at 15000 steps a day.) I might be a little faster in the cold, but there was always something so satisfying about getting a proper sweat on during an 80 F day with high humidity.

I just got up and it's 38F and humid -although we usually call that cold and foggy :)

I quite like this time of year as long as it's not raining. I don't want it too warm when I'm running. The autumn colours are pretty too.

It's going to take all the willpower today!

I got out today and it was quite nice. Would have been cooler first thing, but warmed up by lunchtime.

Yes I was out at 8.30am and it was crisp but enjoyable. Unfortunately I didn't press the Start button on Strava so I don't have a record of it...

You have uploaded 38 running activities, and 2 of them have been of similar distances (within 10 percent)!
Here are your 5-fastest running activities of a similar distance:

Over these 2 similar activities, you have travelled approximately 8.82 kms at an average pace of roughly 6:44 min/km!
Your latest run was at a pace of approximately 6.787min/km!
Looks like you went a bit slower this time! Remember that it's important to take some rest days, and do some rehab / prehab / strength and conditioning training too! If you weren't intending to go slower, take a moment to listen to your body, and see if you need something. Check in with yourself!
