Actress Chris MacNeil, who realizes that her 12-year-old daughter, Regan, begins to act strangely during the filming of the new Filmin, takes her daughter to the doctor. Doctors say that there may be a temporary damage to the brain, but this is the type that has never been seen before. After a series of medical tests, it turns out the little girl has no problems. But the strange state of Regan is not the end. The little girl is trembling very violently, making strange noises and acting in a meaningless way. Desperate for this terrifying situation, Chris takes his daughter to Father Merrin, who is also a psychiatrist. The father will find that Satan has entered the Regan, and the family will desperately try to get rid of it.
It is based on the same name novel by William Peter Blatty, one of the most primitive films of horror-thriller cinema.
